Meet Andrew Muvirimi - LLB(HONS) University of London (Senior Partner)
Andrew Muvirimi is the founder of Muvirimi Law Chambers and is currently the senior partner. He obtained his LLB(Hons) degree from the University of London in 1999 and has a post graduate diploma in Corporate Governance and Strategic leadership from the Midlands State University. He is a member of the Zimbabwe Institute of directors.
Andrew has more than 20years of experience in private practice as a legal practitioner. He specializes in corporate and commercial law. Prior to joining the private practice Andrew was a law officer in the office of the Attorney General Zimbabwe where he gained vast experience prosecuting in the Magistrates court up to the High Court and resigned as a principal law officer.
In 2006, he joined the office of the Prosecutor General as State Advocate where he was the deputy head in the Money Laundering, Asset Forfeiture and Anti-Corruption Unit. In the capacity he participated in the training of other law officers within that unit, handled trials in the High Court and appeals in the Supreme Court of Namibia. He is the former chairman of the board of directors of Aquiva Wireless (Private) Limited, a trustee of the Zvimba Community Share Ownership Trust and a trustee of the Zimbabwe Institute of Alcohol and Drug combating.
Meet Tinotenda Chiguvare - LLBs (HONS) University of Zimbabwe, Masters in Business Administration University of Zambia (Managing Partner)
Tinotenda Chiguvare holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Zimbabwe and a Masters in Business Administration Degree from the University of Zambia. She was admitted into practice in May 2011.Tinotenda is a duly registered legal practitioner, conveyancer and notary public. Tinotenda has been with Muvirimi Law Chambers since August 2011.
She is the Managing partner for Muvirimi Law Chambers. Tinotenda is a highly committed legal practitioner with vast experience in commercial and corporate law litigation and has key expertise in conveyancing and notarial practice. Tinotenda also has a keen interest in arbitration and mining law.
